Creating a New iQpedia Article

In the navigation bar at the top of the page, you'll see the word Contribute. Select that menu and scroll down to click iQpedia.

2. Select iQpedia

Choosing a Title for Your Article

You will then be asked to type the name of the article you wish to write. Be careful. Be sure that your title is free of typos. Your title will be used to create the article and it cannot be edited once the article is created. The best titles are the most intuitive. If you want to write an article on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment, title it that. Leave the spaces and capitalization as is. The iQpedia will take care of the rest.

1. Enter your title.
2. Check your capitalisation and for typos.

Avoid Creating a Duplicate Article

The iQpedia will search to see if your article suggestion has already been created. You may see a list of Matching Articles.If you see a close match, edit that article. For some articles, the title could vary slightly. Be sure to look for close variations of your title (e.g., Language Matters, Inc., Language Matters, LMI). If your article does not exist, then create one by adding content in the editor at the bottom of the page.

1. Look to see if your article already exists in the List of Matching Articles
2. Decide to edit an exisitng article or create your new one.
