Formatting Text (Heading 1)

This article will give you some information about how to format iQpedia articles so they are: 1) Not just long blocks of text, 2) So that information can be found quickly and easily, and 3) So that there is some uniformity eventhough articles may be edited by hundreds of other people.

Breaking Sestions into Headings (Heading 2)

Above is a main heading that signals the reader to the main idea of the section. This paragraph is written as “normal” text. To format the text as a heading, highlight the heading's title with your cursor. Then, use the format menu drop-down menu above (If you highlighted plain text, the menu will say, "Normal"). Select the heading level (e.g., Heading 1). Avoid manually making big text in headings by adjusting the font. That way, if the administrators of DailyCues change the style of main headings for the site, they will all automatically change and look uniform.

External Links (Heading 3)

You'll notice some key features used in iQpedia pages. For example, many pages have a section call "External Links" that sends users to outside websites that are related to the topic.

Internal Links (Heading 3)

You can always link to other iQpedia articles in the body of your text. For example, if you mention Cued Speech you can link to that iQpedia article. However, you may want to provide links to articles that were not directly mentioned in the txt, but are related. For those, you can create a section called, "See Also."
