Audiologist- An audiologist is a health-care professional who evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders in newborns, children, and adults.

 

Qualifications

Masters degree (MS) in audiology or a doctorate of audiology (AuD).  Voluntary certification is available through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Board of Audiology (ABA). Most states also require a license to practice.
