More than 20 years has passed since Language Matters, Inc. split off into a private company focused on providing training and educational materials to our community. Its scope – signed, cued, and spoken language materials. Recently, instructors from Language Matters met with company owner, Lauren Pruett, at a retreat in Valle Crucis, NC to focus on bringing the field of cued language transliteration into the 21st century.
As an outcome of that meeting, they've launched www.languagemattersinc.com to replace the former language-matters.com website. This new address also means new e-mail. Owner Lauren Pruett can be reached at lauren@languagemattersinc.com.
