While all colleges and universities are required to provide reasonable accommodations under the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), many higher education institutions may not be aware of Cued Speech, may not be located in an area where cued language transliterators (CLTs) are available, or may not know how to access the services that are available to them. Therefore, some colleges and universities may be unable to provide transliterating services for incoming freshmen or transfer students.
The following U.S./American colleges and universities are known to currently provide CLTs or have done so in the past.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing and used CLTs in college or graduate school and the institution you attended is not listed here, please add it!
Inclusion on this list does not guarantee that a college or university can provide CLTs, as transliterators may no longer live in the area or may have changed careers.
